Recap: Murder Mystery Dinner

The University Players - including the murdered ones!

Our members thoroughly enjoyed our Murder Mystery fund-raising event on Saturday November 11th at Brooke House Country Club, Botley!

If you have never been to a murder mystery, you don't know what you are missing! It's a surreal experience where you eat a nice meal whilst people are having a major crisis around you! The whole evening started with glitz and glamour and rapidly descended into chaos and the dastardly murder – in fact, on this occasion two dastardly murders!

We are grateful for the fantastic acting from the Southampton University Players, which was so good that no table actually guessed who the murderer was! Wonderful hospitality from Mark and Co., and for the great food. Thanks to all those who supported the event and to the Archers Trust who provided funding enabling us to provide transport for our members. The University Players have promised to do another brand new plot for us in the New Year – so watch this space!
