Peer Support Groups

Here is a list of our Peer Support Groups and activities. Some of the groups can only be attended by people who have been referred by the Community Mental Health Team.  These are highlighted.
 
People can self-refer to our groups on the Solent Mind Website. Or be referred through the SO: Linked network.

Mondays
 
      Wellbeing Café @ 9:30 – 11:30 – Thornhill Baptist Church
      The Men’s Peer Support Zoom Group on Mondays 7-8pm (Zoom)
 
Tuesdays
 
      Lighthearted quiz @ 12.00pm – 1pm (Zoom)
      Arts and Crafts group for CMHT service users @ 11:00 – 12:30 at Solent Mind, 28 The Avenue , Southampton (Sign posting/ Referral Only)
      The Social and activities group on Tuesdays at October Books in Portswood, 5-6.30pm. Great place to make new friends.
 
Wednesdays
 
      Friendly chat on a mental health subject @ 12pm – 1pm (Zoom)
      Coffee Connect @ 2pm – 3:30 for CMHT service users (Referral Only)
 
Thursdays
 
      Walk and Talk, and Sit and Chat group @ 12.30-2pm at The Old Chemist in Bitterne Triangle.
      A Creative Journaling group @ 10-30am till 12pm at Solent Mind, 28 The Avenue , Southampton (Sign posting/ Referral Only)
 
Fridays
 
      Solent Mind in partnership with CGL (addiction service) @ 1pm – 2.30pm
      There is Music for Mind at Flourish in the Marlands Centre which is a SoCo singing group on Fridays 12.30-2pm
      Woman’s Group – 1st and 3rd Friday of the month @ 12pm – 2pm, Gospel Church in Portswood
