Joanne GulliverBookkeeperHaving previously worked in retail, I decided to retrain in bookkeeping, and gained AAT Level 2 in Accountancy. I have also studied Payroll, and passed an exam with Pitman. I started working at Creative Options as a bookkeeper in August 2019, to gain some work experience, and increase my confidence. In July 2020 I also started working in payroll for Creative Options. I enjoy working with numbers and calculations.
I have been diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome, which I believe causes me stress and depression. A lot of people don't understand about AS, and so they don't understand me, or why I react in certain ways. I appreciate working for a charity that understands about mental health, and I feel that my own experiences have led me to understand other people's mental health better. In my spare time, I volunteer with a charity that teaches children about the natural world. I also do conservation work, and I enjoy walking and learning about wildlife. |
