As you are probably aware we have had to suspend all of our face to face peer support groups and activities for the time being, to help keep the Solent Mind community safe during the current virus outbreak. This is a really challenging time for all of us, and our team are absolutely committed to still being able to support anyone that might be struggling. Whilst our face to face services are closed, we are offering a range of other support:
Online: Log on to elefriends.org.uk for our virtual peer support group, every day between 10am – 12noon.
Our peer staff will be live online to offer advice and support or just to have a chat with others. Use #SolentPeers to find us or just look out for our ‘SolentMind’ names. If you have trouble logging on or finding us, drop us a text or email and we will help.
Telephone and text support: – 023 8202 7810 SolentMind offices
If anyone is isolated or lonely please contact Solent mind or via the so-linked partnership, we will be offering emotional support and can help in some cases navigation to services that might help.
Text to 07451 276010 and we will call or text you back. (we can receive texts to this number remotely and will get back to you during office hours.)
Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
You don’t have to have been to our groups or used our services to get support from us, we know this is difficult for everyone and want to be there for anyone that might need support. Please feel free to share this information with anyone that might find it helpful.
