Our Committee
First formed in March 2013, the committee is proudly run by volunteers and recipients of our service. The committee meets on a bi-monthly basis and works to develop each drop-in centre/workshop facility so that the Community Project can be as useful and relevant to users as possible. Very important work indeed!
If you would like to get involved with our committee, there is an Annual General Meeting (AGM) that takes place every May and this is when we reflect on the past year's activities and business and elect officers. There is training available for the skills you may need to fulfil these roles.
Committee members are provided a great opportunity to make a real difference to our charity. Committee work can also can help you on a more individual level, as you will be able to gain in many useful skills such as:
